Your day starts early with convenient pickup from your eligible hotel, resort, Airbnb, vacation rental, or lodging accommodation. Forget about navigating unfamiliar roads, finding parking, or coordinating transportation—we’ll take care of getting you there and back.

Once everyone is ready, we’ll begin our journey toward the rainforest with a stop for a local Puerto Rican breakfast. It’s the perfect opportunity to fuel up, experience a little local flavor, and get ready for the adventure ahead.

Hike Into the Rainforest

Your adventure continues with an approximately 20–30 minute guided rainforest hike surrounded by lush tropical vegetation, incredible scenery, rivers, rocks, and the sounds of Puerto Rico’s natural environment.

Along the way, your professional local guide will introduce you to the rainforest while sharing information about its history, ecosystem, tropical plants, wildlife, and Puerto Rican culture.

But this isn’t just a sightseeing walk.

That means getting your shoes dirty, crossing wet and uneven terrain, navigating rocks and hills, and discovering some incredible natural areas along the way.

Pricing for the Muddy Yunque Rainforest Adventure & Sightseeing experience depends on the location of your lodging accommodations.

Pickup may be available from hotels, resorts, Airbnbs, vacation rentals, and other lodging locations within our designated service areas.

Please note: We currently do not offer pickup service in Dorado.

Departure Times

Pickup generally takes place between 5:40 AM and 6:15 AM.

Your exact pickup time will depend on your lodging location, transportation route, and the itinerary for your tour date.

Starting early allows us to maximize your day and gives you more time to experience the rainforest, sightseeing, local food, and everything else we have planned.

Your confirmed pickup information will be provided prior to your experience.

What does the price exclude?

To keep your experience flexible and transparent, please note that certain personal and optional expenses are not included in the listed tour price. Guests should plan accordingly for any additional purchases or gratuities during their adventure.

Tour Guide Tips — Tips for your tour guide are not included. Gratuities are optional and always appreciated for exceptional service and a memorable experience.
Driver Tips — Gratuities for your driver are not included in the tour price and may be provided at your discretion.
Personal Expenses — Any purchases made during the tour, including souvenirs, additional food or beverages, personal shopping, or other items not specifically included in your confirmed package, are the responsibility of the guest.
Additional Gratuities — Any other gratuities for services received throughout your experience are not included unless specifically stated in your customized tour package.

Guest Requirements & Important Restrictions

The Muddy Yunque Rainforest Adventure & Sightseeing experience is an active outdoor activity and may not be appropriate for every traveler.

Please keep the following requirements in mind before booking:

Guests must be 6 years of age or older
This experience is not wheelchair accessible
Strollers cannot be accommodated on the rainforest trail
Guests should be comfortable walking through wet, muddy, rocky, steep, and uneven terrain
Some portions may require climbing or navigating slippery surfaces
Guests should carefully read the tour disclaimer before completing their reservation
Certain activities may be modified or canceled due to weather or unsafe conditions
Natural water-slide access is never guaranteed
Pickup service is not currently available in Dorado

Want Even More Adventure?

Guests who are physically comfortable with more challenging terrain may have the opportunity to continue approximately 15 additional minutes farther into the rainforest toward the natural water-slide area.

This section may involve steeper, muddier, wetter, and more uneven terrain and requires additional climbing and physical activity.

Because this is a natural rainforest environment, access to the water slide and other activities is never guaranteed.

Rainfall and river conditions can change quickly. Your guides will determine which areas and activities can be safely accessed on the day of your tour.

Safety will always take priority over the itinerary.

This is an active outdoor rainforest adventure, and you should expect to encounter mud, water, hills, rocks, roots, steep sections, ropes, climbing, slippery surfaces, and uneven natural terrain.
